  • North Canyon High School (NCHS) is a public high school located in the north valley of Phoenix, Arizona and features an International Baccalaureate program. The school is part of the Paradise Valley Unified School District. The school athletics teams are known as the Rattlers. North Canyon's school colors are purple and black.
  • North Canyon features special programs in academics and theater. In addition to its International Baccalaureate program, NCHS offers a variety of Advanced Placement classes, and many of its highest-ranking students have grade point averages above 4.0. The school's drama department operates several ongoing programs, including North Canyon Theatre Company (NCTC), Theatre Ensemble (NCTE), and Musical Theatre Troupe (MTT), as well as a Writer's Circle and a Director's Guild. The drama department typically puts on 11 to 14 shows a year. The school has won a vast array of awards spanning from the sciences to literary honors, from a football state-championship to a sophomore tennis state-champion. Also, in the class of 2007, there are eight National Merit Semi-finalists.
  • This school is known from Arizona to New York for having one of the most talented drama departments in the country. Every year the Elite groups go to New York to work with several actors/actresses and see several musicals. NCTC is considered by most to be the center point or the school and is therefor highly respected. Every year, new students pass through only building it stronger and adding more talent.
