The Berean Academy Warriors came back from a two-goal deficit Saturday afternoon, but lost 3-2 to St. James Academy in the Class 4-3-2-1A boys soccer state championship game at Circle High's Thunderbirds Stadium. Rose Hill beat DeSoto 2-0 to claim third place in the tournament. A full story of Saturday's championship will be in Monday afternoon's edition of the El Dorado Times.

The Berean Academy Warriors used the throw-in to reach the Class 4-3-2-1A state semifinals at Circle High School. The Warriors used their heads, literally, to make it to today's state championship after beating DeSoto 2-0 at Thunderbirds Stadium.
