GHEMS is a wonderful school there is always something for kids to do. Today was Green Apple Day, so we planted squash and helped mulch the playground. All the staff and families are wonderful, I love this school.

My child has been at Garrett Heights for two years now, and I am extremely happy with the experience we've had. She has an excellent teacher and the culture of the school is rapidly changing for the better compared to previous years. Her classroom has 21 students, a teacher, and a para, and she happily goes to school every day. The new principal that started during the 2018-2019 school year has completely transformed the school. I couldn't be more pleased with the direction she is taking the school in. She holds the staff to a high standard, genuinely loves the students, and has brought many new and critically important resources to the school. I am excited to see where she continues to take the school in the coming years!

I love GHEMS and so do my kids. Last year the school was horrible kids were always running around the principals where no where to be found. But this year with the new principal Mrs. Traynham and the staff someone is always there for my kids. Kids are in the classrooms teachers are there. The entire tone of the building has changed. The teachers are really professional I feel like they care about my kids. The school is making a 360 change and I am glad that we stayed.
