A new Web site that hopes to connect students with scholarship opportunities in Washington State is slated to go completely online in December, and people from the coalition of non-profits, foundations and state agencies who are backing the venture came to Aberdeen High School last week to talk to educators about using it.

The Science and Mathematics Academy at Aberdeen High School (commonly abbreviated SMA) is a magnet school available to all freshmen entering high school and residing in Harford County. It was the first magnet school within the Harford County Public Schools. The first class of students completed their senior capstone projects and graduated in the spring of 2008.
