A flurry of calls came into Colorado Springs Dispatch reporting a possible shooting in front of Palmer High School located at 301 North Nevada Avenue Saturday night. Officers were unable to find any evidence of any disturbance at that location.

Mission Statement
The school's mission statement is listed on their website as being: "Palmer High School is committed to offering students a well-rounded curriculum designed to promote learning as a lifelong process. As an inclusive institution, Palmer High School encourages a focus on purpose, honor and scholarship as students attempt to discover their abilities and to reach their greatest potentialities through participation in a variety of academic, artistic, co-curricular, athletic and community activities."

For the 2007-2008 school year, Palmer High School enrolled 673 students in grades 8 through 12.
