SAN FRANCISCO — Bruce Ritter, who coaches boys track at Scranton Middle School, competed in the National Senior Olympics Aug. 10-13. He placed in eight events: Shot put (13th), triple jimp (14th), discus (15th), hammer throw (8th), high jump (15th), javelin throw (16th), long jump (21st) and bowling (10th).
