With the recent return of warm and sunny weather, community residents are encouraged to get their first taste of disc golf at Hanson Hills. The first-phase of the Grayling Rotary Disc Golf Course has been completed at Hanson Hills.

Grayling High School's varsity volleyball squad ended its 2009 season with a 3-0 series loss vs. the Cheboygan Chiefs in a district tournament match played at Roscommon Middle School last Thursday.
Vikings fall 30-28 in playoff football game at Negaunee (Crawford County Avalanche)

The Grayling Vikings led for most of Saturday's playoff game vs. the Negaunee Miners, but Negaunee turned a 28-22 fourth quarter deficit into a 30-28 lead at the 2:21 mark with a 39-yard touchdown run and a two-point conversion, and the Vikings fumbled on 3rd and goal, ending an opportunity to score a go-ahead TD in the final minute of regulation.
