Scholarship forms are available GLADSTONE - The Gladstone Area High School local scholarship applications, as well as the Gladstone Scholarship and Student Loan Foundation loan applications, are available in the main office at the high school. Deadline for the scholarship applications is 3 p.m. May 13. Loan application deadline is May 27 at 3 p.m.

ESCANABA - A former area resident was on hand at Bay College Friday afternoon to give a financial seminar. He will also be addressing Bay College graduates at the school's commencement today. Mark Tibergien is CEO of Pershing Advisor Solutions, a division of Pershing LLC. He is a 1970 graduate of Gladstone Area High School.

GLADSTONE - Students and teachers of three local school districts were recognized Tuesday as certified Michigan Green Schools. The districts honored were Gladstone, Mid Peninsula and Big Bay de Noc.
