The public has spoken, and soon the Coventry Local Schools Board of Education will respond. After a short meeting Nov. 17, the Board of Education met in an extended executive session to discuss ways to bring about significant financial savings in light of the district’s recent levy failure.

Alameda County Community Food Bank — Volunteers needed in their warehouse and office weekends and weekdays. Individuals, groups welcome. Volunteers also needed for Hunger Hotline, Food Bank's toll-free food-referral service.
