A chess team from Sonnesyn Elementary School in New Hope, most of whom have played on the Mighty Kings team together since kindergarten, was one of four District 281 teams to do well in the School Chess Association’s (SCA) Minnesota State Chess Primary and Elementary tournament April 18-19.
