Hackettstown High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grades from Hackettstown in Warren County, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Hackettstown School District. Hackettstown High School serves students from Hackettstown, along with those from Allamuchy, Independence and Liberty, who attend as part of sending/receiving relationships.
As of the 2006-07 school year, the school had an enrollment of 949 students and 63 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student-teacher ratio of 15.1.
The school was the 236th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools. The school was ranked 215th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.
Athletics
The Hackettstown High School Tigers compete in the Skyland Conference, participating in football, golf, soccer, cheerleading, cross country, basketball, wrestling, fencing, baseball, softball, field hockey and track. In 2005, the baseball team had one of its most successful seasons posting an 17-7 record and were the Skyland Conference champions which put their program back on the map.
The wrestling team won the 2007 Skyland Conference Raritan Division championships, the team's first ever conference crown. The 2007 team won the North II, Group II state sectional championship with a 54-6 win against West Morris Mendham High School.
The baseball team won the 2007 North II, Group II state sectional championship with a 5-4 win over Cliffside Park High School.
In 2009-10 school year, as a result of the realignment of the conferences by the NJSIAA, Hackettstown is leaving the Skyland Conference to join the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference, citing travel costs and to minimize loss of class time for athletes.

Jimmi Simpson, actor. Best known for his role as Noah in Loser and as Liam McPoyle in the television series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."
