Great school. My son transferred from Pinewood elementary in Pollock Pines because of issues with teachers and staff. Started in the middle of 1st grade and we couldn't be happier with the teachers and staff of Camino Elementary. He was behind grade level at Pinewood and now is above grade level at Camino. Also the teachers are much more friendly and will give you the time of day.

Use to be a great school, but changed principal this year (2012/2013) and definitely has taken a turn for the worse, he is not engaged and doesn't even return parents phone calls
