WELLSVILLE - Zachary Johnson sits a little more straight and is able to follow along much better at Garfield Elementary School in Wellsville. Zachary is a relatively shy first grader currently being taught by Betsy Deshler. Stacy Beck is the school's speech pathologist.

EAST LIVERPOOL - For more than 60 years, the Quota Club of East Liverpool has given to the community. With a motto of "we share," Quotarians are known especially for their service to deaf, hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired individuals and disadvantaged women and children.

EAST LIVERPOOL Monday night was the last regular East Liverpool Board of Education meeting with Gary Bonnell sitting at the board table. Bonnell opted to not run for re-election, but don't count him out from remaining involved.
