CHESTERLAND -- The video of the young faces from the tiny village of Asebu in Ghana shows them smiling for the camera. Each child has been orphaned by parents who have fallen victim to HIV/AIDS.

West Geauga High School is a public high school in Chesterland, Ohio. It is the only high school in the West Geauga Local Schools district, and serves Chesterland, the Geauga portion of Hunting Valley, most of the unincorporated part of Russell Township, and a small part of Munson Township. Their nickname is the Wolverines, often just the "Wolves" for short.
Clubs and Activities
West Geauga's Latin club functions as a local chapter of both the Ohio Junior Classical League (OJCL) and National Junior Classical League (NJCL).
Athletics
The West Geauga Wolverines compete in the Chagrin Valley Conference. They play competitively in Division 1 and 2. The current sport offering is football, cheerleading, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls tennis, cross country, volleyball, golf, wrestling, hockey, gymnastics, swimming, boys and girls basketball, track, baseball, softball, lacrosse, marching band, and fencing.
