Operation Back to School Safely (The Norman Transcript)

Sheriff Joe Lester has announced that his "Operation Back to School Safely" began Wednesday and will run for two weeks.The operation consists of deputies and local law enforcement providing visible traffic enforcement of rural schools and school zones as well as focusing around two major high schools in Cleveland County.

Addor Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary this Sunday, June 28. Services will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The Rev. Jimmy Gilchrist, his choir and members of his congregation will be the special guests. The Rev. James McKinnon, the pastor, invites everyone to attend.
