A move-in date of Aug. 26 still is set for students of the new Zanesville High School. The goal of the Quandel Group, the firm overseeing the projects, is to get the new Zanesville High School and two new elementary schools enclosed before winter hits, so the buildings can open on time this summer.

CEDAR RAPIDS - Students at Wilson Elementary School in Cedar Rapids were going for a world record... in cup stacking. Nearly 500,000 cup-stackers world wide took part in the event on Thursday, stacking cups for 45 minutes straight.

Wilson Elementary School will host a ski and sports gear swap from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the building’s gym. The event features winter gear such as parkas, snow boots, skis and snowboards, as well as camping gear, backpacks and bikes.
