Baldwin High School is in suburban Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is the third largest public school in the Pittsburgh area and currently holds more than 1600 students. It is currently under renovation and is scheduled to be finished in January 2009. Long time NFL coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins and the current head coach for the University of Pittsburgh football team, Dave Wannstedt (Graduated in 1970), former U.S. Army reservist Charles Graner (Graduated in 1986) who was convicted of war crimes in connection with the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal and Utah senator Orrin Hatch are alumni of Baldwin High School.

Mission Statement
The Mission of Baldwin High School is to provide an optimum learning environment in a flexible, comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of all youth providing them with the skills to become self-sufficient, caring, aspiring, and contributing citizens in the changing technological world.
Renovation
The high school is currently undergoing a renovation. The total cost is estimated at $63,000,000. Some of the added utilities and luxuries include a lecture style class room, a swimming pool, a new gymnasium seating about 2,000, and multiple new classrooms, computer labs, and science labs. The expected date of completion is in January 2009 with 80% of the old school being fully renovated.[1]
