Trail would connect Eisenhower Elementary and Gettysburg Area High School. After about 14 years of delays, the North Gettysburg Trail is likely to become something more than a plan, and something people can actually bike and hike on.

It's too early yet for the Indiana Area School Board to be singing in harmony on an unplanned expense that's been brought up for consideration. Board member Joseph Girardi appealed Monday for his colleagues to consider replacing the worn stage piano at Indiana Area Junior High School.
