Laguna Creek High School is hosting its second information night on the International Baccalaureate (IB) program that want to establish by 2011. Incoming and current freshmen students from the Elk Grove Unified School District as well as parents are invited to the event.

The Laguna Creek High School baseball program will be hosting a Bingo Night at the Asian Sports Foundation in Laguna West on Saturday, Dec. 5. Cost is $20, which includes a rib dinner from Texas Roadhouse and five bingo cards. Additional cards will be available for purchase at event.

Laguna Creek High School is a 9th-12th grade college preparatory high school located in Elk Grove, California, a large suburban community near Sacramento, California. The school was established in 1994 as part of the Elk Grove Unified School District. It is home to various organizations and programs, including the Business Career Academy (BCA), Green Enery Technology Academy (GETA) and the Manufacturing Production Technology Academy (MPTA).
Manufacturing Production Technology Academy
The Manufacturing Production Technology Academy (MPTA) program prepares students for a career in crafts work and engineering. Projects range from helpful community projects such as developing and manufacturing toys for children with cerebral palsy to developing basic engine automobiles. The department allows selected MPTA students to enter a program that provides hands-on opportunities.
Business Career Academy
The Business Career Academy (BCA) is a program to allow students to study basic business procedures the first year, and then get hands-on experience at the school student store. Students ranked in the school's top 1% occasionally get a class period (work experience) that permits them to leave school early and go to local businesses such as Apple, Safeway, and The Habit to work in $25-an-hour internships. Which is now nonexistent due to large budget cuts.
Academics
Most students on campus take a wide selection of AP courses. 35% of AP test takers on campus scoring 5s on their exams, and 83.6% of the test takers passing their exam.
