Dorothy M. Staple, 92, of Tower City, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East, Pottsville. Born in Lykens, September 8, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Ruth Snyder Hoffman.

Barnesville: Mooring spaces are available at Tuscarora State Park, according to a release from Lewis H. Williams, park manager. The rate for seasonal overnight mooring at the park is $42 and for shoreline mooring, $60.50 for a rack. By obtaining a mooring space, boaters may leave their boats from April 1 through Oct. 31, Williams said. For more information, phone the park office at 467-2404.
