My daughter and my family love that she is going to Brighton High School. I am from out of state and we moved here and have been welcomed with open arms from the staff and the teachers. My child has made many friends and her grades are great! They offer a lot of classes for kids that make wonderful grades which in our case is what she needs. No school is perfect but so far very happy with it. Also lots of clubs, sports, and activities for all types of kids.

This school seems uninterested in complaints of bullying, harassment, and even assault. The administration seems more interested in protecting their reputation and jobs than protecting the students.

More... The teachers and administrators are very small town minded. If they spent more time in their classrooms teaching instead of gossiping, these kids would learn something. Teacher and administrators both need to concentrate on fairness, education, teaching, and administrating. Don't judge these kids because of what church they do or don't attend, how much their parents make, or politics. Our children go to school to learn life skills and subject knowledge to get a higher place in society, not to focus on sports of after school activities. No child should be made to join a club if they want to stay in a club either. The Gateway and ACT classes have not taught my kids anything. Also, hire some teachers who are qualified to teach! They are hired because of the good old boy system here in Brighton.. This also goes for the Middle it is much much worse!! This post is partially another parents post I found on the website school matters and if you look at thier website they no longer take user submitted content about schools... Could it be the truth HURTS!!
