- KYOTV
-
In the early 2000s, Calabasas High School became known locally for its unique monthly productions of KYOTV. KYOTV (Coyote TV) is typically a 10 minute video segment composed of the school's extracurricular activities (such as pep rallies, sporting events, school productions and class nights) that took place in the preceding month. Teachers and students alike have embraced the program because of the student creativity that it fosters and the school spirit it promotes. At the end of every school year, just two communications commissioners are selected by the incoming ASB class to be the face of KYOTV for that respective year. These two commissioners become responsible for writing, filming, editing, and then eventually broadcasting the short episodes on administration scheduled dates to the entire school.
