Batch ‘59 of the Quirino Elementary School in Project 2, Quezon City will mark its golden year on Nov. 28 while the Ateneo de Manila High School Class of 1959 will hold its Grand Alumni Homecoming on Dec. 5.

Pumpkins to benefit St. Jude (Northeast Arkansas Town Crier)

Pumpkins grown in Leachville will benefit children at St. Jude for the second harvest year. JD Shepard started planting pumpkins last year as a hobby. He said he had the ground and the time and he hoped the children would enjoy watching the pumpkins grow.
Snider Memorial Library serving MHS for 60 years (Northeast Arkansas Town Crier)

Snider Memorial Library at Manila High School is 60 years old, the oldest building on the school campus. School librarian Debra Lee said thanks to the upkeep of the building, it is still a beautiful building with a lot of character.

George Ray's Wildcat Dragstrip in Paragould will celebrate 50 years next year and Jimmy Flanigan of Manila has been there from the start. Flanigan was presented a framed cover of the book that will recognize Ray's 50 years. The book will be released next year.
