Auburn Senior High School will host the 23rd annual Auburn Veterans Day Marching Band Competition from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
Man killed in crash ID'd (Seattle Times)

The man killed Tuesday night in an automobile accident in Auburn has been identified as Andrew Bonwell, 18, by the King County Medical Examiner's Office. Bonwell was a football player at Auburn Senior High School, according to teammate Cameron Chaney.

Auburn Senior High School is a public high School in Auburn, Washington founded in 1903. The school is situated on 18 acres of land in downtown Auburn, its campus includes the Auburn Performing Arts Center (PAC), The Auburn Swimming Pool, Auburn Memorial Stadium (formerly known as Troy Field) and the Administration Annex.
Academics
Auburn offers Advanced Placement classes in Computer Science, Biology, Calculus, English, U.S. History, European History, and Government [1]. Three foreign languages are taught. Auburn moved to the SPSL (South Puget Sound League) 3A in the fall of 2006. After only two years in the SPSL 3A Auburn along with Auburn Riverside moved to back to 4A as of fall 2008. Auburn became part of the SPSL-North, returning to the same league they left after 2005.Recent success at the Washington State Championship level include:
1st in 2001 Wrestling.
2nd in 2007 Baseball, 2006 Wrestling, 2006 Baseball, 2002 Wrestling, and 2001 Boys Track and Field.
3rd in 2006 Football, and 2003 Wrestling.
4th in 2007 Wrestling, 2004 Gymnastics, 2001 Gymnastics, and 2001 Baseball.
6th in 2004 Wrestling, and 2002 Wrestling.
7th in 2001 Boys Track and Field.
Quarter Final Appearance in 2008 Football, 2008 Baseball, 2006 Boys Soccer, and 2005 Boys Soccer.

Auburn High School is also home to a Sports Medicine Program. The program is run by the Sports Medicine Director, Mrs. Krista Parsons, who also teaches Anatomy and Preventative Medicine. The program competes annually in the Washington Vocational Sports Medicine Association (WVSMA).
