CLE ELUM — Kris Blum, part of a leadership team at River Ridge High School in the North Thurston School District, has been chosen to be the new principal at Cle Elum-Roslyn High School. She'll replace Principal Boyd Keyser who is moving to a position on the West Side.

William F. West High School, commonly referred to as W. F. West, is a public high school in Chehalis, Washington and the only high school in the Chehalis School District. Its athletic teams, competing as the Bearcats, are cross-county rivals with Centralia High School. The Principal of W.F. West High School is Dr. Linda Smith. It is named for local businessman William F. West who donated money and land to the school district.
Sports
W.F. West High School is a member of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association in the 2A Evergreen Conference. The school sanctions the following sports:
Fall: Cheerleading, Football, Girls' Soccer, Cross Country, Boys' Tennis, Boys' Golf, Girls' Swimming, Volleyball, and Forensics (Speech and Debate).Rifle team, Pep Band, Bowling, Club
Winter: Cheerleading, Wrestling, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball,knowledge bowl and Forensics.
Spring: Baseball, Boys' Soccer, Fastpitch, Girls' Golf, Girls' Tennis, Forensics, and Boys' and Girls' Track (Stand 2006-2007)
Fight Song
The W.F. West fight song, "On Chehalis," is set to "On Wisconsin," the fight song of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
