Returns from Washington, D.C. MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake student learned about being a leader from the nation’s capitol. Peninsula Elementary School fifth-grade student Samantha Salinas, 10, traveled to Washington, D.C., for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference.

MOSES LAKE — New boundaries for Moses Lake’s elementary schools are being considered by the Moses Lake school board. The boundaries will be modified to accommodate the fall opening of Sage Point Elementary School.
