Registered Nurse Tamara Johnson of Franciscan Health System gives Anthony Dulaney, 4, an H1N1 nasal flu vaccination last Wednesday at Key Peninsula Middle School. The clinic provided 610 H1N1 vaccines to students in five hours and only had to turn away 20 students.

Gig Harbor High School is a public high school in the Peninsula School District located in Gig Harbor, Washington.
It was created in the summer of 1978 and is located adjacent from Discovery Elementary. It originally was a 2A school, but is presently 4A (population about 1700). The school's colors are navy blue, Columbia blue, silver, and white. Its mascot is the Tides. The school's rivals are Peninsula High School (across-town) and South Kitsap High School (Port Orchard, WA).
