HEDGESVILLE - Classes have been canceled at Hedgesville Elementary School for today due to an electric power outage, Berkeley County Board of Education officials said. Allegheny Energy spokesman Allen Staggers said the problem stemmed from a car hitting and breaking a utility pole. The accident occured at about 6:20 a.m., he said.
