Menomonie resident and current Menomonie High School (MHS) football coaching staff member, Ken Mueller, has been selected to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will be on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Marriott West in Madison.

Linda Carel Farster, 66, a former longtime Baker City resident, died Sept. 2, 2009, at Ontario. There will be a private memorial service at Burns where she will be buried next to her parents in the Burns Cemetery.

An accident early Monday involving multiple semitrailer trucks closed at least several lanes of Interstate 94 near Eau Claire for several hours. The accident, reported at 3:10 a.m., happened at milepost 59 near the U.S. 12-I-94 interchange, according to the State Patrol.
