- Greendale High School is a four year (grades 9-12) public high school located in Greendale, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee. The school is located near downtown Greendale which lies between S. 76 street and Loomis Road. GHS is part of the Greendale School District, the only school district within Greendale. Greendale hosts a varity of sports and activities for some genders. Greendale recently has been undergoing investigation due to a swine flu infestation which rooted from the elementary schools.

The Greendale High School Marching Band is a curricular course that is offered in the fall. Nearly 25% of all Greendale students participate in band ( 191 marchers alone). In 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, the band has gone undefeated in class AA WSMA Marching Band Competition. Also, they have placed first at the State Marching Band competition at UW-Whitewater. The Journey Within- The 2008 GHS Marching Band had yet another great run towards a fourth consecutive Class AA State Marching Band Competition with their show, "The Journey Within". The show featured music from the Cirque du Soliel show, Journey of Man, and featured special visual tricks such as plume changes and stunning drill.
- 2007 SeasonGreen Goes Gold: The Music of America's Golden Age
- The 2007 GHS Marching Band capped a wonderful season with a third consecutive Class AA State Marching Band Championship with their field show "Green Goes Gold: The Music of America's Golden Age." Selections included Over the Rainbow, My Favorite Things, Luck Be a Lady, Summertime, and Caravan. Additionally, the band brought home awards for Best Musical Presentation, Best Percussion, and Best Colorguard.

- The 2006 Greendale High School Marching Band performed a collection of music relating to various forms of dance. Selections included Moondance, Save the Last Dance for Me, In His Eyes, and Riverdance. - Greendale Drum Majors and Colorguard Captains pose with WSMA Staff Members after receiving their awards.
- The 2005 Greendale High School Marching Band performed the music of Benoit Jutras' Cirque du Soleil, featuring selections from La Nouba and Quidam. The show featured the exciting music that is found in all Cirque shows, combining classical elements in a contemporary style. Selections included "Distorted," "Reve Rouge," "Urban," and "Atmadja." The group consisted of 144 members and competed in Class AA at shows throughout the state, culminating with a state championship with the highest score in school history. - 2004 SeasonShipwrecked
- The 2004 Greendale High School Marching Band performed the music of Pirates of the Caribbean. The show featured music from the hit motion picture, and was highlighted by a life-sized pirate ship, built entirely by students, at the back of the field. The band brought home its second consecutive Class AA runner-up finish at the state championships, falling just short of champion Cumberland High School.
- 2003 SeasonTo Challenge the Sky and Heavens Above
- The 2003 Greendale High School Marching Band performed this unique show, ending with the singing of "Simple Gifts" in a combination with the hymn "Amazing Grace," utilizing a handbell choir in the closer. The favorite selection of the students was the opener, the uptempo "In Caelum Fero." GHS brought home second place at the state championships, finishing just behind champion Fort Atkinson High School.
- 2002 SeasonJekyll and HydeThe 2002 Greendale High School Marching Band performed the music of the Broadway musical, Jekyll and Hyde. The show featured a narration throughout the production, telling the story of the man with two "Facades." The band took third place at the state championships.
- 2001 SeasonGladiator
- The 2001 Greendale High School Marching Band performed the music of Gladiator. The show featured music from the hit motion picture, and included a choreographed fight scene for the entire wind section. The band took second place at the state championships, finishing behind AA champion Whitnall High School.
