    LI Amanda Bottkol of Coleman was one of 170 high school 2009 graduates nationwide to be awarded a one-time monetary scholarship of $1,400 by Simon Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and career development opportunities to youth. She is a 2009 graduate of Coleman High School and is attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

    You see those stories once in a while where someone finds a class ring and tracks down the owner. Drew MacDonald has a whole box of 'em. His father, a history buff, got himself an underwater metal detector and a wetsuit. He combed beaches and lake bottoms near resorts and camps and found rings and watches by the dozens.
