John A. Rowland High School is a public high school located in Rowland Heights, California. It is part of the Rowland Unified School District. The school mascot is a raider and the school colors are blue and gold.
The school teaches grades nine to twelve, and has several college courses for adults.
Rowland High School received a six-year WASC Accreditation in 2007 as well as being named a California Distinguished School in 1996 & 2004 and a National Blue Ribbon School in 1998.
In November 1999, the Visual and Performing Arts Department was one of eight schools in the nation to be judged by the U.S. Department of Education as having "exemplary programs in the Special Emphasis Areas of Arts Education." Out of those eight, John A. Rowland High School was one of three schools chosen to give a presentation at the National Blue Ribbon Ceremony.
In 2005, Rowland's Career Technology Education was recognized as one of the top 12 Exemplary Programs in the State.
