MONTEVALLO, AL (WBRC) - A school bus fight leads to a ninth grader being charged with assault and placed in an alternative school. The incident took place last week and involved students at Montevallo High School. The whole thing was caught on cell phone cameras.

Montevallo High School fell 39-6 on the road Friday at Trinity Presbyterian in Montgomery. Garrius Chappell scored the Bulldogs' only touchdown on a 40-yard run.

Montevallo High School fell 34-33 in overtime on the road Friday night at Montgomery Academy, but the news wasn't all bad for the Bulldogs. Montevallo qualified for the Class 3A playoffs following a loss by Class 3A, Region 3 partner LaFayette.
