This school is amazing

I am a teacher at this school and I am so sad to hear this Mom's comments. Our school is large and I work with older kids, but I have never known a teacher at Freedom who did not make a conscientious effort to be equitable and un-bias to all of the children he or she serves. I tend to think there could be more to this situation, but still, I hate to hear of someone who is unhappy with our school. Our reputation depends on students being well served and happy parents. We have over 700 students and many involved and happy families. So sorry for this unhappy family.

I am a stay at home mom of two. My oldest child attended Freedom Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year. This school and her teacher went above and beyond to alienate, condesend, exclude and show a disgusting amount of bigetry. I'm not an angry parent. I'm dissapointed that I was not welcomed to share my daughters school life. If they needed supplies for the class then my money was good enough. The best part of being a stay at home mom is the neverending time I get to spend with my children. I have 100's of pictures from my daughters kindergarten and first grade year. I only have four from her second grade year at her school. The treatment towards my daughter was not very kind or compassionate. They have no bully zone signs everywhere in the school. That is very confusing to me because I feel the teachers and staff are the worst bullys of all. My daughters former school was truly wonderful. Small in size. About sixty years old. They may not have had a huge budget but they were kind and welcoming and I trusted my daughter was safe and happy. Freedom Elementary is a pretentious, sorry excuse for and education.
