Tisa’s Hair Salon on Main Street hosted a Hair-A-Thon on a Sunday afternoon in October. The event helped the SPHS Band and Colorguard raise money to help pay for buses that will be needed in December as the Band represents Santa Paula High School and the City of Santa Paula at two parades.

The Santa Paula High School Jazz Band will hold its first concert of this school year on November 19th at 7:00 PM in the Freeman Eakins Auditorium on the high school campus. Tickers will be sold at the door for a $5 donation.

Veterans are at the top of every Santa Paulan’s list, and many in the community will attend the Wednesday, November 11 Veterans Day Observance staged by Mercer-Prieto VFW Post 2043 to especially remember those who fought, and died fighting, for America.
