ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech forward Kammeon Holsey is preparing for knee surgery which will force him to miss the 2009-10 basketball season. Holsey, a 6-foot-8 freshman from Sparta, Ga., will have surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

Georgia Tech forward Kammeon Holsey is preparing for knee surgery which will force him to miss the 2009-10 basketball season. Holsey, a 6-foot-8 freshman from Sparta, Ga., will have surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He suffered the injury while playing basketball on Aug. 1, the school announced on Monday.
