Hundreds of area residents gathered Wednesday in Marietta to honor the service and sacrifice of the nation's military men and women. The events began around 10 a.m. with the city's 55th annual Veterans Day parade, which formed at Fourth and Butler streets and traveled to Putnam Street and down to Front Street, ending with a ceremony of song, prayer and reflection at Armory Square.
