School Reviews

5   6/30/2010
Heritage Middle School is amazing! It opened just 5 years ago. The test scores of students in any ability are just through the roof. Our chorus travels to NYC every spring to preform at the Statue of Liberty as well as putting on a stunning spring musical annually. The band program is one of the best in the state with superior ratings and individual success, with 30+ students exceeding in District Honor Band, and many in All-State Band. With astounding spirit, the sports programs are amazing. Our teams always compete to the highest level, humbled by win or loss. We have several teams, including Competition/Football Cheer, Basketball Cheer, Football, Basketball, Dance Team, Golf, Tennis, Swim, Cross Country, Track, and several more. As for extracurricular activities, we have a wide range. There's endless clubs to join. Heritage Middle offers something for every student to show their talents and Heritage Pride in. The facilities are kept up to date and clean, making it an easy and modern learning space. Parent involvement is great. Especially in middle school, you would think parents don't show up. But at HMS, it's different. The boosters for sports and the band are always wanting the best for not only their own students, but every student. Our PTO is found working at almost all events, from dances to games. I would recommend this school to anybody looking for a nice town to lie in and great school for their children to live in. I feel very safe in HMS.
