Classmates and friends gathered Thursday evening for a candlelight vigil to remember a Central Bucks High School South student who was killed in a tragic car crash. Alex Smolin, 16, was killed in a crash following the first day of school for upperclassmen Wednesday afternoon.

Grief counselors will be on hand at a Bucks County high school after teenage student was killed in a one-car crash Wednesday afternoon. Police said three students from Central Bucks High School South were returning home from the first day of school when the crash occurred along Street Road near Elbow Lane in Warrington at about 2:45 p.m.

r Air Force Airman Aaron R. Steigerwalt graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Roy Steigerwalt of Harleysville and is a 2009 graduate of Souderton Area Senior High School.
