Alot of buckets are being filled at the New Egypt Primary School in Plumsted these days. Children who attend the school kicked off National Acts of Kindness Week by filling buckets with random acts of kindness, which is the foundation for the school's ongoing character education program.

PLUMSTED — Homeland security grant funds will pay for software and technical support that will enable the Plumsted Police Department to be linked into an information database system with all other Ocean County law enforcement agencies to a central hub in the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.

PLUMSTED — New Egypt High School has introduced a 12-Plus program for special-needs students. "The main objective of the program is to prepare our students for the important steps in their lives," Plumsted Superintendent of Schools Mark DeMareo said.
