Assured of its second straight winning season, the New Egypt High School girls tennis team notched some new accomplishments this season when it qualified for the NJSIAA state tournament and had two qualifiers in the NJSIAA individual tournament.

Cortney Natalicchio scored her 25th goal of the 2009 season in the final minute of the first half to tie the score at 1-1, but Holy Cross netted the go-ahead goal five minutes into the second half to dash the New Egypt High School field hockey team's hopes for a second straight NJSIAA Central Jersey Group I championship,

Alot of buckets are being filled at the New Egypt Primary School in Plumsted these days. Children who attend the school kicked off National Acts of Kindness Week by filling buckets with random acts of kindness, which is the foundation for the school's ongoing character education program.
