- Saugus High School is an American public secondary school located in the Santa Clarita, California community of Saugus, California, and part of the William S. Hart Union High School District. Bill Bolde currently acts as Saugus' principal, with Diane Hamburger, Martha Spansel, Rich Bahr, and Jamie Timmins as assistant principals.

Saugus' campus is built on a hill, with a leveled upper and lower campus and a sloped quad in between the two campuses. The A, B, C, D, E, F, and G buildings are located on the lower campus. Generally speaking, elective classes are located on the lower campus. The theater arts, choir, and band classes are housed in building E. The ASB is housed in the A building, art and ceramics classes in the B building, computer and business classes in the C building. Video, wood, auto shop, and other elective classes are in the D building. Some core classes are scattered throughout the lower campus nonetheless.
- The upper campus is larger than lower campus and houses teachers that teach core subjects. If a teacher also teaches an elective alongside their core class, that elective class will be located here. It houses the H, J, K, L, M, P, Q, R, S Lecture Hall, and X buildings. In buildings H, K, and Q are English classes (although some English classes are scattered in the L, P, and A buildings due to a lack of space). In building J is the math department, in L are social studies classes, in M is the world language department, in P and R are history classes, and in the S building is the S lecture hall.
- The two-story Y building is located on both upper and lower campus, with the offices portion on the first floor, lower campus portion and the library located on the second story in the upper campus.
- One can enter Saugus through a number of different ways. The main entrance is at Centurion Colonnade located between the Y and A buildings in lower campus. Other lower campus entrances include the student parking lot D gate, auto compound gate, basketball courts gate, and the gate located towards the end of the football field. There are two entrances on the upper campus. The "driveway" is located behind the K and J buildings, leading up to Centurion Way. The other is on the side of the softball field, leading to the dirt path which winds up the hill with the blue S and pipe on it.
- Saugus' renovations were completed in September 2007. There were many renovations to the school including: The new X building, the football field, the gym, the amphitheater, the refurbishing of the A, B, C, E, F, H, J, L, K, Q, M, P. R, and S buildings, a new cafeteria, a new Student Store, ASB Office, Library and Administration building. During the modernization, the D classroom building in the lower campus and the W weight room building next to the field were not altered, except for the new exterior paint the D building got to match the school's new and modern look.
- Sports

Hart High School, Canyon High School, and Valencia High School are Saugus' main rivals. Two new schools, Golden Valley High School and West Ranch High School, are quickly forging heated rivalries with the school, making for a total of six rival high schools in the Santa Clarita Valley. The school colors are the blue and the silver and the teams are called the Centurions.
- Saugus High School's football team, long overshadowed by surrounding high schools Hart, Canyon, and Valencia, had a turnaround season in 2006, in which they made it into the second game of play-offs. The football team's talent continued as the Centurions advanced to the semi-finals of the CIF Southern Section championship in the 2007 season. The team was ousted by St. Bonaventure High School on December 1, 2007 at a score of 55-36.
- Saugus High School Football won the Foothill League Championship in the 2008 season, the first time the school has ever won it.
- Saugus' girls cross country team competes on a national level. The team took first in the California State Division 1 in 2006 and 2007, finishing second overall in the Nike Nationals competition the latter year.

Saugus has an award winning marching band program. The Saugus High School Marching Band, led and directed by Robert Gibson. They have been invited to SCSBOA championships seven consecutive years, attending every year since its inception, placing 7th, 3rd, 10th, 7th, 8th and 2nd out of ten finalists for Southern California in their division (Saugus has varied between the 2A and 3A divisions). In SCSBOA championship competition for the 3A division in 2007, Saugus took 2nd in band, 4th in percussion, and 4th in auxiliary (Color Guard). In addition, they received a caption award for High General Effect. In 2008, their field show entitled "Night watch" took the third place prize in band, and the second place in cologuard.
- Saugus Color Guard 2009 won 1st place at the WGASC Championships for their show That's Life!
- Saugus High's award winning dance team has won national championship titles six consecutive years at the United Spirit Association (USA) Dance/Drill Competition held in Anaheim, California.
- Saugus has a strong Speech and Debate team that regularly attends competitive tournaments throughout the league.
- Saugus has a daily television news network, SNN (Saugus News Network) that presents the morning announcements and adds a little humor to them in the process. Saugus has its own Chinese foreign language class as part of a Chinese student exchange program.
- The Sword and Shield, Saugus' yearbook, has always garnered critical recognition from the yearbook community. Under the direction of current yearbook adviser, Christina Tolisano, the past three editions, Shades of Blue, TypeS, and Fine Lines, have received multiple awards from the CSPA and ASA.
- Saugus has developed a stellar choral music program. Under the direction of April Dooley, the program has expanded to four auditioned choirs: Concert Choir, Jazz Choir, Women's Ensemble, and Show Choir. These prestigious choirs consistently earn accolades: in 2008, Concert Choir was ranked third in the state of California, and traveled on tour to New York City at St. Bartholomew's church, at Ground Zero, and at the famous Lincoln Center. 2008 also marks the first year that Women's Ensemble has been accepted into the esteemed Festival of Gold in San Diego, and the first year that Jazz Choir will travel and compete in the illustrious Reno Jazz Festival.
- In 2001 Saugus High started the Gay and Lesbian Alliance as a safe place for students to express themselves.

- Saugus High School was built on the site of a former dairy farm and was early on known as Cow Pie High.
- Saugus High School was the site location for the fictional Hubert H. Humphrey High setting of the 1990 movie Pump Up The Volume.
- According to Principal Bill Bolde, Saugus High has the largest campus in the WIlliam S. Hart Union High School District.
- Saugus High School was turned into a evacuation center during the Buckweed fire in October 2007.
- In 1999 Saugus High was host to a bomb scare. The "bomb" was a misguided students electronics project that was left behind in the quad.
