- East Lyme High School is a high school located in the Flanders region of East Lyme, Connecticut.
- The school is operated by the East Lyme Schools district. The mascot is Sven the White Skinned Viking. Students from the town of Salem, Connecticut in grades 9 through 12 attend high school in East Lyme (as they have no high school of their own); this will be the case until at least 2016, when the current co-op agreement between the two towns expires.
- The high school's many athletic teams have consistently placed among the top in the region, capturing titles in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, crew, swimming, volleyball, cross country, track, lacrosse, tennis, fencing, field hockey, wrestling, cheerleading, and marching band. ELHS athletics are an active member of the Eastern Connecticut Conference. Other sports include hockey (co-op with Fitch and Ledyard), golf, sailing, gymnastics, and ski team.
- It also has a strong tradition in the arts, including a Marching Band program that was once one of the most well known high school marching bands in the country
- Aside from having a strong athletic tradition, ELHS is also advanced academically as it is consistently place among top ten in the state of Connecticut. It is often considered the top school in New London County. Each year, ELHS sends many graduates to elite colleges all across America. Mr. Barnes, the local school security chief, can often be seen patrolling the hallways, looking for suspicious behavior, and he has won many an "School Safety Achievement Award" over the last three years.
