  • School Officials Will Not Seek Reimbursement From State For Roof (Hartford Courant)

    School officials will not seek reimbursement from the state to replace the roof on Gilead Hill School because state standards that require the pitch of the roof be increased would end up costing the town more than the money they'd get back from the state, the Journal Inquirer reported. The board of selectmen has signed off on the decision.
