Alberta and William Crosson look up to the sky as three Blackhawk Helicopters perform a fly-over on Main Street during the 10th Anniversary Veterans Day Parade in Hartford. The fly-over was done after a moment of silence to remember fallen veterans.

Area communities will honor veterans on Veterans Day on Wednesday, with help from the veterans themselves. Most of the programs will take place at local schools, and the public is welcome to attend. Here's what's on tap in the area for Wednesday: " 10 a.m. at the Adult Community Center in Marshall presented by the American Legion. Guest speaker will be John Feda.
