One of the amazing things about giving is the lasting impact it has. And when the financial investment is made in education, its impact extends far into the future. As a 12-year old immigrant growing up in Chicago, Lucie Jenny MacCarthy was given a chance to learn to play a musical instrument, which strengthened her confidence in her abilities and selfdiscipline.
