Petersburg High School (PHS) is the public high school for the Southeast Alaskan community of Petersburg and the Petersburg City School District.
Extracurriculars: Petersburg High School is well known for its basketball and cheerleading programs, both currently and historically producing above-average records. In the past, Petersburg also boasted a state championship drama, debate, forensics team which was rescinded in the late 90s due to budget cuts. It was just recently refounded.
Petersburg is a class 3A school according to the Alaska School Activities Association.
