  • History: Originally called Manatee County High School, the school first opened in 1915. Manatee County High School moved to its present location in 1926 and was named Bradenton High School. By 1947, Bradenton High School merged with Palmetto High School and became Manatee County High School once again. By 1959. the name was shortened to Manatee High School.
