- Apopka High School is a high school located in Apopka in northwest Orange County, Florida, United States. The school has been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
- The school serves grades 9 through 12. The campus is divided into two campuses, a 9th/10th campus (Wells Campus) and an 11th/12th grade campus (Martin Campus).

Apopka has about 26 total sports teams. The football team won the first State Championship in 2001. This marks the first such title for an Orange County Public School. The team also won the District Title in 2000. In 2006 the team won the 6A-4 district title by beating East Ridge High School, and the Metro Conference title. In 2007 the team won the 6A-4 District Championship by beating East Ridge High School 48 - 16. The 2007 Regional 6A playoffs began as expected with Apopka defeating Timber Creek 30-22. Apopka then advanced to take on bitter Metro Conference rival Edgewater in one of the most hyped showdowns of the season. Apopka lost in the regular season 40-33, but this time prevailed by the count of 36-7. Apopka reached the 6A Region 1 final for the first time since 2001, and advanced to the State Semifinals with a 43-0 victory over Spruce Creek High School. However, their season ended with a 21-18 loss to Boone High School at Boone's Norton Baker Field.

In August 2007 a new school located at 2501 N. Hiawassee RoadApopka, FL 32703 was opened [1]. The school, named Wekiva High School, took some students away from Apopka, Evans, Edgewater, and Ocoee High Schools. Students from mostly Lockhart Middle and Piedmont Lakes Middle go to this school.

In spring 1932, students were asked to choose a mascot for the athletic teams. Dr. Carey C. Womble proposed the blue darter, which won. Before that the school mascot was a 'Blue Devil'. [http://darter.ocps.net/schoolinformation/bluedarterstory.htm
- The original building that consisted of the ciruclar frame was torn down in the 2006-2007 school year. In 2009 a new building was constructed with the same layout as Timber Creek,Ocoee,Wekiva and Freedom High School.
