While three facilities are expected to close at the end of the school year in St. Lucie County, faculty at those schools may not be losing their jobs. “Teachers are needed to follow students,” St. Lucie County Schools Superintendent Michael Lannon said. And there are “landing spots” for administrators displaced from a closing school, he said.
