- Chamblee Charter High School is a public secondary school located in Chamblee, Georgia.
- It is one of several combined zoned and magnet schools in DeKalb County and is part of the DeKalb County School System. As a magnet school, Chamblee accepts students from all of DeKalb county as well as its local district.
- Timeline
- Prior to 1917, Chamblee High School and Chamblee Elementary School are housed in a single building on the present site of the First Baptist Church of Chamblee.
- In 1917, DeKalb County authorizes the purchase of land for the high school on Chamblee Dunwoody road. Construction begins that year.
- In 1919, first classes are held in the partially completed school.
- In 1922, M.E. "Prof" Smith is named principal. He will serve as principal for 35 years.
- In 1924, Ten classrooms and DeKalb County's first gymnasium are added to the campus.
- In 1928, A home economics building is added to the campus.
- In 1934, Depression-era WPA funding allows Chamblee High School to add eight new classrooms, a new gymnasium, a canning plant and a machine shop. The school becomes the first in DeKalb County to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
- On December 8 1941, the entire campus burns to the ground after fire breaks out. Classes are relocated to the area hospitals and Baptist and Methodist churches.
- In December 1942, the high school is rebuilt and classes resume on campus.
- In 1950, a lighted general athletic field is built for football and baseball games.
- In 1962, North DeKalb Stadium opens next door to Chamblee High School.
- In 1964, the school is remodeled, adding 19 classrooms and five laboratories.
- In 1965, The Football Team, led by Coach Gene Goff and Senior QB Jackie Smith upset arch rival Tucker 14-0 to win the 4-AA Sub Region title. The scrappy Bulldogs go on to defeat Stephens County 42-13 to win the Region Championship. However, they lose the following week in the State Semi-Final game to eventual State Champion, West Rome, 13-7.

- In 1970, the old basketball gymnasium and home economics building are demolished. A new cafeteria is built on the site.
- In 1973, the old 1942 classrooms are demolished and a new administration building and library are built.
- In 1986, the Chamblee High boys cross-country team won the AAA state championship.
- In 1991, the first Magnet class enters Chamblee High School.
- In 1994, Chamblee High was named a National School of Excellence.
- In 1995, the Chamblee team for We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution easily advanced through the state tournament to place 3rd out of 50 states represented in the national tournament in Washington, D.C.
- In 1999, Chamblee High placed 9th place overall at the National Science Olympiad tournament held at the University of Chicago.
- In 2001, Chamblee High was named a State School of Excellence.
- In 2001, Chamblee High became a charter school.
- In 2004, a senior class prank displayed pornography over Chamblee's internal video news feed.
- In 2004, the Chamblee team for We The People: The Citizen and the Constitution won the state tournament, advancing to the national tournament held in Washington, D.C.
- In 2005, teen broadcasting network Channel One News featured CCHS in an episode of its high school road tour.

- In 2006, Chamblee finished as a runner-up in the Class AAAA state soccer playoffs, losing to Marist, 2-1.

- In February 2007, Chamblee Charter High School began a program called "Zero Hour," designed to help failing freshmen with morning tutorials.

- In May 2008, The Chamblee Bulldogs boys varsity soccer team defeated Westminster 2-1 to Win the AAA state title.
- In November 2008, The Chamblee Bulldogs varsity football team advanced again to the state football playoffs, the first back to back playoffs since 1984.
- On November 14, 2008, The Chamblee Bulldogs lost in the first round of AAAA Region 6 playoffs against the Sandy Creek Patriots, 14 - 7.
- In November 2008, the Chamblee cheerleading competitive team were region champs for the AAAA region 6.
- In November 2008, the Chamblee Cheerleading competitive team placed 14th overall in AAAA.
- As of August 2009, Chamblee High School has implemented a renumbered system for classrooms, beginning in the 100s and ending in the 700s, similar to Dunwoody High School.
